    This phase involves the gathering of information from LEAs and other potential users in order to identify the issues involved in designing the website.

  • Design
    This phase involves making decisions about of content, functions, navigation of the website, based on the information gathered during the needs assessment phase.

  • Development
    During this phase the design specification are implemented into a pilot website through adaptation, testing and programming functions.

  • Implementation
    Website implementation includes launching the pilot website and monitoring its use in order to assess its role as learning and support tool.

  • Report Production
    A final report will be generated detailing web development methodology, lessons learned and recommendations for maintenance of the website.

  • Evaluation
    A key aspect of the project involves a continuous consultation with the LEAs and other potential users in order to ensure that the website will respond to their needs. These consultations will occur during all the project phases.
